Is this a coding bootcamp?

No. It is a developer education delivered while you build software you actually use. There is a real syllabus — about 60 modules across 16 stages — but you meet it through features, not a week-one lecture on syntax.

Do I need to know Python first?

No. You need to know how to switch a computer on. Python, JavaScript, SQL, Git, APIs, privacy, cost — they arrive because the thing you are building needs them.

What is the Personal OS?

The classroom, not the destination. A living environment on your machine: dashboard, shell, vault, brain. Calendar, contacts, email drafter, fitness tracker sit on that spine. You keep the code.

What is actually in the syllabus?

Stage 0 is the contract and the risks of building blindly. Then the machine, the internet, code, the web, data, APIs, AI, security, privacy, product, business, marketing, deployment, professional practice, and a capstone. The map is visible. Delivery is contextual.

Will Simon just write the app for me?

He will write the boring bits. Generation is not evidence of mastery. He pulls a beam on purpose. If you cannot say why the floor dropped, you have not learned it.

Is the syllabus hidden from me?

Hidden in the experience, not hidden from you. Open the map whenever you like. Simon is not sneaking vegetables into a smoothie. He is avoiding marching you through a textbook in order.

What happens if I stop paying?

Standby Guarantee. Simon may go quiet. Your client, your code, your local data do not lock. Education that evaporates when billing stops was never education.

Is this a university degree?

No. The competency standard is serious — aligned with what a capable builder should be able to do — but we do not sell a parchment. Graduation is a thing that works, that you can explain, that you can change.

Do you store my emails and code?

The lab in this browser stays on this device. The downloadable assistant is local-first. See Privacy. We are not your lawyer, and we do not want your secrets.

When is sudosimon.com live?

The domain is ours. This site is the public face while the shop and the desktop client come up. Demo prices are marked as demo. Join the list if you want the knock on the door.
